A canopy is an overhead roof or else a structure over which a fabric or metal covering is attached, able to provide shade or shelter from weather conditions such as sun, hail, snow and rain. A canopy can also be a tent, generally without a floor.
When it comes to canopy top materials there are three main options; Polyester, Polyethylene, and Vinyl.
Polyester Canopy Tops. Polyester is the most commonly used material in the instant canopies because it is durable and water resistant.
The canopy layer provides protection from strong winds and storms, while also intercepting sunlight and precipitation, leading to a relatively sparsely vegetated understory layer.
